The crowd rose to their feet as Edmund Sobczak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Márcio de Brito. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Rodrigo Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Santos in the 16th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣ got a corner. Samurai Champions FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Leoni ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peter Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Beliran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s Rodrigo Beliran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Santos in the 34th minute of play. Edmund Sobczak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Márcio de Brito made a huge save. Arif Gaffar Nadi's late challenge caught a ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Criston's late challenge caught a Samurai Champions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Criston helped the player get up and apologised. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rodrigo Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Samurai Champions FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
