Alysson Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Colas Valdueza in the 17th minute. If Igor Cavalera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Lang didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee showed Eliézer Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Mendonça. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Cavalera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Colas Valdueza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alysson Rezende was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute, Igor Cavalera made a precise shot to the right of Benedicto Ireno.
