In the 24th minute Bennvar Post shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Springfält saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Springfält showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Melander, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Adrian Springfält showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Melander in the 34th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, SJÖARED's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Post came free, but Adrian Springfält reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes SJÖARED got a freekick which was hit by Roger Bålström. Bennvar Post struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Adrian Springfält didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for National Team Cape-Verde. 46 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaj Ekegren. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fredric Melander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pål Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Gustafsson in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Ekegren in the 54th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in SJÖARED fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Adrian Springfält, was totally fooled by National Team Cape-Verde's Fredric Melander, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. National Team Cape-Verde's Klas Bergqvist was substituted for Fredric Melander. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Björklund during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, SJÖARED's Adrian Springfält got control of the ball when Carlos Alberto Tevez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Alberto Tevez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Adrian Springfält made a huge save. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind SJÖARED's goalkeeper Adrian Springfält, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Gustafsson came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Klas Bergqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Springfält was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. SJÖARED made a substitution. Isak Qvarnström replaced Vilhelm Lidman. SJÖARED's Urban Rudberg was substituted for Kaj Ekegren. If Urban Rudberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Leon Fasgar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Springfält made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Carlos Alberto Tevez sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute of the match National Team Cape-Verde got a corner. SJÖARED's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leon Fasgar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carlos Alberto Tevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Alberto Tevez took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Springfält. Adrian Springfält dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. National Team Cape-Verde had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
