An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Gustafsson in the 34th minute of play forced Stoke FF's goalkeeper Niclas Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niclas Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Helge Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. SJÖARED's supporters rose to their feet, but Helge Gustafsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niclas Andersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 minutes, Roger Bålström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SJÖARED and the Stoke FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SJÖARED getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Roger Bålström hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Stoke FF's Marcelinho Motta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Oskar Kihlberg in the 76th minute of play forced SJÖARED's goalkeeper Adrian Springfält to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niclas Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Gustafsson in the 78th minute of the match. After 79 minutes Stoke FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roger Bålström who took care of the corner kick. Niclas Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Gustafsson in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the SJÖARED players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stoke FF.
