The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Hummerfiskarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea De Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 14th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Johansson to maneuver through the defense. Hummerfiskarna's Florin Răducioiu got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute Andrea De Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holger Mattsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdi Revis in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes Hummerfiskarna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernan Berart who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso to fire away a dangerous shot which Holger Mattsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea De Toro in the 22nd minute of play. Marcus Ekrot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bolli Bolla's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 31 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Börje Stål. After 32 minutes of play, Hummerfiskarna's Bolli Bolla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Ekrot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hummerfiskarna made a substitution. Conrado Olayo replaced Hana Banana. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Hummerfiskarna's Andrea De Toro. But to his dismay, Andrea De Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea De Toro in the 39th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Andrea De Toro made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Vykans Vikingar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When Mats Hermansson fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vykans Vikingar's protests and gave Mats Hermansson a yellow card for diving instead. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea De Toro in the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Andrea De Toro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Ekrot should have stopped the shot. In the 56th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Mutumba to maneuver through the defense. Andrea De Toro scored 0-5 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Ekrot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Trancoso in the 64th minute of play forced Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Holger Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börje Stål hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Hummerfiskarna's Bennvar Maradona was substituted for Andrea De Toro. After 69 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Börje Stål. In the 71stth minute of the game Arnaldo Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Marcus Ekrot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Queirós in the 74th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Hummerfiskarna's Marcus Ekrot threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bolli Bolla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Arnaldo Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Răducioiu in the 82nd minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot was a little too slow when Arnaldo Queirós got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-6. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Hílton Souza got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The long shot by Florin Răducioiu in the 93rd minute really tested Marcus Ekrot's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
