The corner was taken by Jose Indalecio in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes, Christoffer Johansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vykans Vikingar and the BV Borussia Hammarby players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christoffer Johansson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Brolin in the 7th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Vykans Vikingar's Abdi Revis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jairo Asteguieta. Jairo Asteguieta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 13 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Mats Hermansson. In the 15th minute, Birger Mårtensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, BV Borussia Hammarby's Jairo Asteguieta got control of the ball when Abdi Revis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 洪浩飞 in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Ekrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orvar Kihlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With an all-out effort, Vykans Vikingar's Jairo Asteguieta threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mats Hermansson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Springfält in the 38th minute of play. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 洪浩飞 in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Johansson. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Mårtensson in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mats Hermansson was the one to do the kick off. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by 洪浩飞 in the 53rd minute. Jairo Asteguieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Hermansson in the 54th minute of play. The corner led BV Borussia Hammarby's Rune Fristedt to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus Ekrot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 72 minutes, Orvar Kihlman made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. BV Borussia Hammarby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdi Revis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The Vykans Vikingar support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
