Zlatan BK's Billy Pihl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Zlatan BK from getting a goal against them. 5 minutes into the match, Zlatan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Argoitz came free, but Billy Pihl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Salqvist in the 8th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Apolo Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Leocadio's late challenge caught a Zlatan BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelio Leocadio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Valentin Salqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zlatan BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lars Örtlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Apolo Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Valentin Salqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Giraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zlatan BK's Thor Månsson got a free kick in the 21st minute. Apolo Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Wester in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Vikingos FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Oscar Oroitz hit a great ball. After 27 minutes, Edvin Markusson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zlatan BK and the Vikingos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vikingos FC booed when Zlatan BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Markusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billy Pihl acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cornelio Leocadio. 30 minutes into the match, Zlatan BK's goalkeeper Billy Pihl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Jakobe. Billy Pihl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Argoitz in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Wester came free, but Apolo Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Edvin Markusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Zlatan Run shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Giraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Wester in the 44th minute of play. Apolo Giraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatan Run, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th match minute, Vikingos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Hartz to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the match Edvin Markusson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Apolo Giraldo skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Vikingos FC's Feliciano Chuan was substituted for Anier Chale. In the 54th minute, Edvin Markusson made a precise shot to the right of Apolo Giraldo. Vikingos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Zlatan BK made a substitution. Kjell Bergendahl replaced Edvin Markusson. If Zlatan Run had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Giraldo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Gunnar Wester sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Vikingos FC defense, Jens-Åke Josefsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apolo Giraldo. The Vikingos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apolo Giraldo should have stopped the shot. Vikingos FC's Igor Havier was substituted for Benjamin Hartz. When Zlatan BK's Gunnar Wester in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vikingos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Marciano Isaio charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marciano Isaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79th play minutes Zlatan Run shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Apolo Giraldo and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, Vikingos FC's Apolo Giraldo got control of the ball when Jens-Åke Josefsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apolo Giraldo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zlatan Run showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 93 minute of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Arne Mager who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vikingos FC's Apolo Giraldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 96th play minutes Arne Mager shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Apolo Giraldo and just under the crossbar into goal.

Zlatan BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
