The supporters of OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Löv didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Théophile Trocme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harald Mogren. Arsenal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Théophile Trocme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arsenal FC's Harald Mogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul-Émile Delas in the 23rd minute of play. Arsenal FC's attentive Christer Löv managed to snatch the ball when Jolan Brulin made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. Philippe Peloux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Larsson in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY's Pascal Gayrard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harald Mogren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrik Larsson made a kick off. If Per-Åke Albäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Albäck came free, but Philippe Peloux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Coubard. Harald Mogren came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY's Pascal Gayrard. But to his dismay, Pascal Gayrard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Fernand Cotte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Harald Mogren made a huge save. Eddie Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arsenal FC's Henrik Larsson in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY's goalie prevented a goal. Harald Mogren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascal Gayrard in the 87th minute. Paul-Émile Delas struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Harald Mogren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY. 91 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul-Émile Delas came free, but Harald Mogren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul-Émile Delas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Harald Mogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Arsenal FC's Ola Bergström seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ola Bergström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Arsenal FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ola Bergström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 95th minute, one of Arsenal FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arsenal FC.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
