Spectators: 527 (Terracing: 396, Seating: 121, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgar Buys started the match with the kick off. Bob De Loose kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 5 minutes, Bob De Loose mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zero Gravity and the Ágætis Byrjun players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robbin Roggen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brain Diest in the 6th minute of play. Robbin Roggen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Buys went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ágætis Byrjun's Ab Veenema proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Ágætis Byrjun from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Ab Veenema, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Bob De Loose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ab Veenema was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Jullian Van Castel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jullian Van Castel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Ab Veenema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jullian Van Castel in the 37th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Jullian Van Castel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ab Veenema was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 41 played minutes Ágætis Byrjun got a freekick which was hit by Boukjan Schalkwijk. A collision led to Ágætis Byrjun getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Frank Snijders hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yanne Wynaerts to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jullian Van Castel in the 51st minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Ab Veenema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rocky Mons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ab Veenema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes of play, Zero Gravity's Yanne Wynaerts made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ab Veenema was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Zero Gravity booed when Ágætis Byrjun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Snijders didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Bob De Loose came free, but Ab Veenema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Buys got free with Robbin Roggen in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 69th play minutes Yanne Wynaerts shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Ab Veenema and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Yanne Wynaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zero Gravity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yanne Wynaerts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jullian Van Castel in the 78th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Ab Veenema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Yanne Wynaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ab Veenema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gill Kockaerts fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zero Gravity's protests and gave Gill Kockaerts a yellow card for diving instead. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Robbin Roggen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Ágætis Byrjun's Taco Westerink got a free kick in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yanne Wynaerts in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ab Veenema prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bob De Loose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boukjan Schalkwijk hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Zero Gravity's Yanne Wynaerts in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ágætis Byrjun's goalie prevented a goal. 95 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Yanne Wynaerts came free, but Ab Veenema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

There was no doubt that Zero Gravity were the better team. Zero Gravity's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
