Eduardo Chago came out of the goal and Knut Rolfsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s Bonifacio Etxepare got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Bertil Palm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Chago was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eduardo Chago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Jernberg in the 20th minute of the match. Bertil Palm struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Eduardo Chago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mansfield Town FC. Mansfield Town FC's Karl Stjernfelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Martxelin in the 26th minute of play. Karl Stjernfelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Maria, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malte Sundström in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Chago saved ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚ from getting behind. Johnny Jernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Chago having to interfere. Karl Stjernfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Maria in the 35th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Ciriaco Maore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Stjernfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertil Palm hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s Ciriaco Maore got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 52nd match minute, ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Maria to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mansfield Town FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
