In the 19th minute Baltasar Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Joanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nacho Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Lluis in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Reynardo in the 25th minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Nacho Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Escobar charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Escobar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Federico Escobar got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29th match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Falcke to maneuver through the defense. Felix Belmiro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Urbez in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Urbez came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Lluis in the 39th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Falcke. In the 42nd minute, Baldomero Gaitan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Falckner FC's Remigio Joanes didn't even have to move. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cosme Turi made the kick off in the second half. Remigio Joanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Turi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nacho Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Belmiro in the 57th minute. Nacho Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Lluis, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to Cable a Tierra getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lucas Cisneros hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Luis Filipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falckner FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Filipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Erauso in the 71st minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Remigio Joanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Angelo Erauso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigio Joanes was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. A collision led to Cable a Tierra getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Angelo Erauso hit a great ball. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Ivan Reynardo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nacho Gonzalez. The goal made the score 3-2. Baltasar Gaitan scored 4-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigio Joanes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Many of Falckner FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Falckner FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Cable a Tierra were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
