Belgrano de Pibasog's Andres Ignatius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Belgrano de Pibasog from getting a goal against them. Andres Ignatius was a little too slow when Frank Rosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Andres Ignatius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedê Mendes. Enrique Abreu scored 2-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Ignatius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Rosa in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Ignatius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Rafael Cruz got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulgencio Perico was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Ernesto Velloso got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Cosme in the 57th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Andres Ignatius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Celedonio Nalo replaced Osvaldo Montay. 67 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Piboon. 72 minutes into the game, William Luz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agua Santa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgrano de Pibasog the free kick. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's William Luz got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th match minute, Agua Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Cruz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 75 minutes, Alfredo Farré managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Farré was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Agua Santa from getting a goal against them. Belgrano de Pibasog's Andres Ignatius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Abreu in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute Tiago Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Ignatius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Ignatius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Mendes in the 89th minute of play.
