Glenn Roggen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Meira in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glenn Roggen saved Ulan Bator Football Club from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Ulan Bator Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Meira came free, but Glenn Roggen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Severino Marquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MUSHIBA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Marquez in the 24th minute of play forced Ulan Bator Football Club's goalkeeper Glenn Roggen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Severino Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Roggen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

A collision led to Ulan Bator Football Club getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ron Van Meensel hit a great ball. Chiquinho do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Maeijnarts in the 67th minute of play. After 68 minutes, Arnold Haesevoets mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ulan Bator Football Club and the MUSHIBA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. MUSHIBA FC made a substitution. Rodolfo Donato replaced Severino Marquez. After a rather tough play, Ulan Bator Football Club's Arnold Haesevoets got a free kick in the 70th minute. Michel Ramos struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Glenn Roggen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUSHIBA FC. In the 78th minute, Rodolfo Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
