After 17 minutes Crottos Crotters F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gonzalo Canto who took care of the corner kick. Fernán Rosselot made a great header on Navalito's corner, it was just that Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Eustaquio Haitz managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Bertoni in the 20th minute of play forced Navalito's goalkeeper Maximino Bear to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Bear made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Bertoni in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Ramone came free, but Maximino Bear reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Navalito defense, Daniel Bertoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximino Bear. The Navalito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Bear should have stopped the shot. Severino Ensslin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 33rd playminute. Timoteo Baldovino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Bear having to interfere. Clodoveo Cordarius hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Bertoni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Navalito getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fernán Rosselot hit a great ball. Isaac Alvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac Alvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Crottos Crotters F.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Isaac Alvarez hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Albano Ramone slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximino Bear. That made the score 2-2 after 60 minutes of play. In the 64th minute Albano Ramone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Bear saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Gervasio Dei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Navalito made a substitution. Carlos Hernán Amthauer replaced Regino Matas. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Santos Harri was substituted for Valentin Tauro. Crottos Crotters F.C. made a substitution. Amado Galo replaced Walter Clausen. After 66 played minutes Crottos Crotters F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Dei. When Carlos Hernán Amthauer fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Navalito's protests and gave Carlos Hernán Amthauer a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Navalito got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Hernán Amthauer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albano Ramone in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Bear prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gervasio Dei kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Bertoni came free, but Maximino Bear reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match Crottos Crotters F.C. got a corner. Navalito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesar Telo ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Albano Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Gonzalo Canto made the kick off and play began. Carlos Hernán Amthauer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 100th minute of the match, but Eustaquio Haitz made a huge save. In the 110th minute Leonardo Astrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Bear saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Astrada during the 111th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 112th match minute, Crottos Crotters F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Astrada to maneuver through the defense. The first half of extra-time was a real thriller. Both teams had created chances, but they were still tied when the whistle blew. The players were able to take a short breather during the short break.

Both teams seemed ready to fight when Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Daniel Bertoni did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. Maximino Bear made a fantastic save in the 119th minute, when Daniel Bertoni sent off a good shot on target. After 124 minutes, Daniel Bertoni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crottos Crotters F.C. and the Navalito players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Navalito booed when Crottos Crotters F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 124 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Bertoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 126th match minute, Crottos Crotters F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Galo to maneuver through the defense. Santos Harri hit a great freekick 127 minutes into the match. 127 minutes into the match, Navalito's Gonzalo Canto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Eustaquio Haitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salbatore Eslava in the 132nd minute of play. Defensive play by both the teams in the second half of extra-time meant the match finished 2-2. The game would now be decided on penalties.

Eustaquio Haitz had in the 134thth minute some difficulties stopping Gonzalo Canto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The score was 3-3 after a penalty in the 137th minute, where Navalito:s Bartolomé Lavín tricked Crottos Crotters F.C.:s Eustaquio Haitz with a difficult ball by the left post. The referee gave Crottos Crotters F.C. a penalty, 139 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gervasio Dei, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Navalito's Maximino Bear. 3-4. Eustaquio Haitz had in the 142ndth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Bertoni's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The goalkeeper, Eustaquio Haitz, was totally fooled by Navalito's Maximino Bear, who 146 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Navalito:s Eustaquio Haitz showed great skill when he stopped Ciriaco Erramu:s penalty. The Crottos Crotters F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Crottos Crotters F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
