Christer Waaler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Ultra Copos FC ™'s Vítor Aleixo got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnt Honningsvåg in the 14th minute of play forced Ultra Copos FC ™'s goalkeeper Donato Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ultra Copos FC ™'s Egídio Valadares got a free kick in the 15th minute. A hard shot by Kristian Sandersen from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Donato Sá's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ultra Copos FC ™'s Donato Sá proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ultra Copos FC ™ from getting a goal against them. When Gentil Madeira fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ultra Copos FC ™'s protests and gave Gentil Madeira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Åsnes booed when Ultra Copos FC ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gentil Madeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ultra Copos FC ™'s Donato Sá proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ultra Copos FC ™ from getting a goal against them. Gonçalo Martins scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christer Waaler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Donato Sá made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnt Honningsvåg in the 34th minute. If Vítor Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Sá made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Arnt Honningsvåg sent off a good shot on target. Åsnes's Rune Gjessing got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ultra Copos FC ™ booed when Åsnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Sandersen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnt Honningsvåg to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Kenneth Leidland put in a rough tackle. Kenneth Leidland hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Gentil Madeira came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ultra Copos FC ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gentil Madeira couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Vítor Aleixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Rune Gjessing managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsnes's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Gjessing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute Arnt Honningsvåg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnt Honningsvåg in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Ultra Copos FC ™ getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nuno Ferreira hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Ultra Copos FC ™ defense, Daniel Dehli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Sá. The Ultra Copos FC ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Sá should have stopped the shot. In the 85th match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnt Honningsvåg to maneuver through the defense. Christer Waaler came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Ultra Copos FC ™'s Gonçalo Martins. But to his dismay, Gonçalo Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. Ultra Copos FC ™'s Gonçalo Martins started the play with the initial kick off. A collision led to Ultra Copos FC ™ getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Gonçalo Martins hit a great ball. Rune Gjessing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Donato Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnt Honningsvåg in the 101st minute of play. In the 102nd minute, Gonçalo Martins made a precise shot to the right of Christer Waaler. Åsnes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The Åsnes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ultra Copos FC ™ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
