Spectators: 586 (Terracing: 440, Seating: 135, VIP seats: 11) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Michael Kuijsten took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Mădălin Corocăescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iulian Burtea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gertjan Theisens in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Gertjan Theisens came free, but Iulian Burtea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marick van Fessum got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Michael Kuijsten. Iulian Burtea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Blanc, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Marcel Blanc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iulian Burtea was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Schophuis came free, but Iulian Burtea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Mijdrecht Maffia got a corner. MIT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laurens Hollander ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Laurens Hollander almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MIT's Iulian Burtea did a great save. If Marcel Blanc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iulian Burtea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gertjan Theisens went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rik Numan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Mara, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Kuijsten in the 30th minute of play forced MIT's goalkeeper Iulian Burtea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernst Klooster kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Leonard Cutean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Rik Numan made a huge save. Iulian Burtea came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Mijdrecht Maffia's Michael Kuijsten. But to his dismay, Michael Kuijsten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Iulian Burtea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel Blanc went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonard Cutean to strike the kick off in the second half. Iulian Burtea came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Mijdrecht Maffia's Marcel Blanc. But to his dismay, Marcel Blanc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. MIT's Iulian Burtea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Blanc in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gertjan Theisens in the 64th minute of play forced MIT's goalkeeper Iulian Burtea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marick van Fessum's late challenge caught a MIT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marick van Fessum helped the player get up and apologised. Marick van Fessum hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Iulian Burtea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Kuijsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Prislop in the 71st minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rik Numan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Nichifor Mara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rik Numan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. 82 minutes into the game, Gertjan Theisens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mijdrecht Maffia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIT the free kick. Gertjan Theisens hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. MIT's Martin Topală was substituted for Mădălin Corocăescu. In the 84th match minute, Mijdrecht Maffia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gertjan Theisens to maneuver through the defense. Rik Numan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Mara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iulian Burtea made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Michael Kuijsten sent off a good shot on target. Ernst Klooster charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernst Klooster the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Mijdrecht Maffia got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Klooster. After 97 played minutes, MIT's Petre Prislop shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rik Numan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MIT reached it.

The MIT fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mijdrecht Maffia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
