When Iván Zamorano fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ninjas in Pyjamas's protests and gave Iván Zamorano a yellow card for diving instead. 12 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Antipa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Horea Zâncă quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Ninjas in Pyjamas booed when Electric Frankenstein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Shevchenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aron Neculce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Luis Montt in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Zamorano in the 20th minute of play forced Electric Frankenstein's goalkeeper Feliberto Fisher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Iván Zamorano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliberto Fisher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Feliberto Fisher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iván Zamorano, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Iván Zamorano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Feliberto Fisher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. André Shevchenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Neculce having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Iván Luis Montt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Electric Frankenstein fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Iván Zamorano scored 3-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliberto Fisher, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 46 played minutes Electric Frankenstein got a freekick which was hit by Eric Cantona. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Zamorano in the 47th minute of play forced Electric Frankenstein's goalkeeper Feliberto Fisher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sorin Tăgorean to make the kick off. Iván Zamorano might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliberto Fisher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aron Neculce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Luis Montt in the 82nd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Francisco Tineo in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ninjas in Pyjamas's Horea Zâncă. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Electric Frankenstein's goalkeeper Feliberto Fisher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
