Nusnäs IF's Clodoveo Rojas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Willian Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Lundberg in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Willian Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bai Peng Ning. After a defensive mix-up in Merusca F&P - CIMZ's zone, Arne Lundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Trevisan came out of the goal and Arne Lundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dmitry Ilyushin in the 27th minute of play forced Nusnäs IF's goalkeeper Clodoveo Rojas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Humberto Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Rojas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nusnäs IF's Clodoveo Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dmitry Ilyushin in the 33rd minute of play. After 36 minutes Nusnäs IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Régis de Souza who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Merusca F&P - CIMZ's corner Dmitry Ilyushin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Clodoveo Rojas quite easily take care of the ball. Svenne Berka's late challenge caught a Merusca F&P - CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Svenne Berka helped the player get up and apologised. Svenne Berka hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Nusnäs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Dmitry Ilyushin came free, but Clodoveo Rojas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nusnäs IF's Arne Lundberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th match minute, Nusnäs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Erik Caspersson to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Régis de Souza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clodoveo Rojas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 46th minute, Dmitry Ilyushin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clodoveo Rojas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Leopoldo de Queiroz replaced Luizinho Messias. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Pitta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dmitry Ilyushin couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Régis de Souza. Clodoveo Rojas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dmitry Ilyushin in the 71st minute of the match. Dmitry Ilyushin scored 0-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clodoveo Rojas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Humberto Pitta could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Clodoveo Rojas however easily saved by the left post. Stefan Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Merusca F&P - CIMZ booed when Nusnäs IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Eliasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Nusnäs IF getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Stefan Eliasson hit a great ball. Clodoveo Rojas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dmitry Ilyushin in the 91st minute of the match. Willian Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Pitta got free with Clodoveo Rojas in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The Merusca F&P - CIMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Merusca F&P - CIMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
