Larpe Cabrera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kim Lekberg's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. When Savage Hippo's Kim Lekberg in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nueva Adalucia's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Nueva Adalucia's Alvito Helguera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt-Arne Askstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nueva Adalucia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gerardo Bellido in the 11th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gerardo Bellido got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bengt-Arne Askstedt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kim Lekbergs short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Larpe Cabrera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 13th minute Alvito Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Alvito Helguera came free, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Lekberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Larpe Cabrera could save by the left post. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Sabin Baltanas in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Savage Hippo's Saulius Pilipavičius. Sabin Baltanas made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Savage Hippo's Saulius Pilipavičius. Nueva Adalucia's Larpe Cabrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Nueva Adalucia from getting a goal against them. Kim Lekberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Larpe Cabrera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kim Lekberg ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kim Lekberg got free with Larpe Cabrera in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 played minutes Nueva Adalucia got a freekick which was hit by Santxo Moya. If Alvito Helguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvito Helguera to strike the kick off in the second half. Alvito Helguera struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Bengt-Arne Askstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nueva Adalucia. Kim Lekberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Larpe Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 63rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Bellido during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Nueva Adalucia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Bellido to maneuver through the defense. Larpe Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Lekberg in the 80th minute of the match. Larpe Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Nueva Adalucia booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vakaris Daujotas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nueva Adalucia made a substitution. Sol Rajoi replaced Murat Oberlack. In the 84th minute, Vakaris Daujotas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Sol Rajoi came free, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Kim Lekberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvito Helguera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a huge save.
