Matei Oltean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Torouţ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC aDeX's Franck Tkint was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leontin Omescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The attack was good, but when Giorgos Neymar in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Rana got free with Leontin Omescu in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremy Wenderickx made a kick off.
