In the 10thth minute of the game Torsten Ahlén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club's Juan Seme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Annedal FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Boris Klemensson hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Ingvar Strand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stig-Ove Håkansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Strand in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ingvar Strand hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boris Klemensson during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Boris Klemensson made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Björn Lund however managed to control. Karl-Ove Nyberg struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Juan Seme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Annedal FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ingvar Strand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Strand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig-Ove Håkansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Annedal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Strand came free, but Stig-Ove Håkansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Annedal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Rune Hegg to maneuver through the defense. After 36 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Santio. 38 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Ingvar Strand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig-Ove Håkansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stig-Ove Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Strand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ingvar Strand came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Strand couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torsten Ahlén in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Seme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ingvar Strand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stig-Ove Håkansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Ingvar Strand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig-Ove Håkansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Kacper Czermak. Racing Club made a substitution. Urbano Ramond replaced Silvestre Egun. Racing Club's Juan Seme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingvar Strand in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig-Ove Håkansson saved Annedal FC from getting behind. Bernardo Balasi's late challenge caught a Annedal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Balasi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Annedal FC's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Håkansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stig-Ove Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Strand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Boris Klemensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing Club's Wilfredo Sanson was substituted for Prudencio Donzel.
