During this time Cable a Tierra's players had a chance to rest. 63 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Coutinho came free, but Leonides Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Leonides Telesforo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Paraíba. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when Xapetuba Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Narciso Bertassi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Tiaguinho da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiaguinho da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Jacinto Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
