Colo-Colo's Toninho Bibikov shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elpidio Cutberto but with some difficulty. Elpidio Cutberto made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Mati Fernández sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Alonso in the 95th minute of play forced Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Emiliano Marcó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
For all the effort they put into the match, the Colo-Colo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Justicialista FC.
