The supporters of MZ Fénix booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarmo Helm didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Ramon Herrera got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Aras Görkem Kaymaz came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the MZ Fénix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aras Görkem Kaymaz couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Pankracy Zajonc made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Ramond got free with Pankracy Zajonc in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by MZ Fénix's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olaf Gall was slow to take the kick. During this time Yalapa's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Yalapa's corner Olaf Gall fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pankracy Zajonc quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, MZ Fénix could leave the field as winners, despite Yalapa having more of the ball for most of the match.
