Joakim Svensson ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, Titanes Mayas's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Tidéksson came free, but Amancio Artal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Teo Estavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match, Hipolito Txordon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Magnus Skoglund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Joakim Svensson made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Titanes Mayas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Titanes Mayas:s Amancio Artal showed great skill when he stopped Ernst Hedlund:s penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Titanes Mayas's zone, Peter Östlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Artal came out of the goal and Peter Östlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Joakim Svensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Sweds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joakim Svensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Greger Täman kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Txordon in the 74th minute of play forced Atletico Sweds's goalkeeper Magnus Skoglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joakim Svensson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amancio Artal came out and tried to block the shot, but Joakim Svensson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 78th minute. Atletico Sweds's Magnus Skoglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Txomin in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Atletico Sweds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Östlund to maneuver through the defense. With 84 minutes on the clock, Vidar Bergvall commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Vidar Bergvall hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Magnus Skoglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Tavio, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Txordon in the 95th minute of play forced Atletico Sweds's goalkeeper Magnus Skoglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Joakim Svensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Artal was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Atletico Sweds supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atletico Sweds would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
