After some careless play in the Ornopata defense, Lisandro Leoiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Laincera. The Ornopata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Laincera should have stopped the shot. Carnero Arramendia hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Dei in the 8th minute of play forced Ornopata's goalkeeper Eugenio Laincera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Amado Dei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Laincera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vennancio Feyjo in the 15th minute of play forced Titanes Mayas's goalkeeper Amancio Artal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ornopata's Carnero Arramendia got a free kick in the 16th minute. A collision led to Titanes Mayas getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Hipolito Txordon hit a great ball. Zavier Arnaez charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zavier Arnaez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ornopata fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Imre Mihály walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Amado Dei put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Eugenio Laincera. After 35 played minutes Ornopata got a freekick which was hit by Zavier Arnaez. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Titanes Mayas. Imre Mihály stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eugenio Laincera. 0-4. 42 minutes into the match, Titanes Mayas's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Alderete came free, but Amancio Artal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Carnero Arramendia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carnero Arramendia struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Amancio Artal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ornopata. Gonzales Subijana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Carnero Arramendia made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Titanes Mayas's zone, Vennancio Feyjo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Artal came out of the goal and Vennancio Feyjo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 53 played minutes Titanes Mayas got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Bastiaro. Carnero Arramendia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Amancio Artal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carnero Arramendia in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amancio Artal saved Titanes Mayas from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Lisandro Leoiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Txordon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Eugenio Laincera made a huge save. The supporters of Ornopata booed when Titanes Mayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Leoiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Laincera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Dei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Camilo Alderete ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amancio Artal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Leoiar got free with Eugenio Laincera in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 played minutes Ornopata got a freekick which was hit by Gonzales Subijana. After 73 minutes of play, Ornopata's Camilo Alderete made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amancio Artal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Gerazan during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Titanes Mayas getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aldo Gerazan hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carnero Arramendia in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amancio Artal saved Titanes Mayas from getting behind. Gonzales Subijana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Amancio Artal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rdth minute of the game Carnero Arramendia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Titanes Mayas's Amancio Artal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hipolito Txordon struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Eugenio Laincera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Titanes Mayas. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Titanes Mayas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
