The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Aytek Pınarbaşı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mile High FC's Frankie Herndon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mile High FC from getting a goal against them. Frankie Herndon made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Joar Löfdahl sent off a good shot on target. 邱鹰翔 took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frankie Herndon. Frankie Herndon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邱鹰翔 in the 25th minute of play forced Mile High FC's goalkeeper Frankie Herndon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Joar Löfdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fizimar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joar Löfdahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, 邱鹰翔 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fizimar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as 邱鹰翔 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Frankie Herndon. That made the score 3-1 in the 30 minute of play. Joar Löfdahl scored 4-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frankie Herndon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Mile High FC's zone, 邱鹰翔 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frankie Herndon came out of the goal and 邱鹰翔 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 minutes of play, Fizimar's Joar Löfdahl made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frankie Herndon was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The supporters of Mile High FC booed when Fizimar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aytek Pınarbaşı didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邱鹰翔 in the 54th minute of play forced Mile High FC's goalkeeper Frankie Herndon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mile High FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joar Löfdahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. 邱鹰翔 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Fizimar's Kamuran Bağdaş got control of the ball when William Mueller tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 minutes, Ulu Cinel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fizimar and the Mile High FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Fizimar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulu Cinel to maneuver through the defense. Laurence Reeder was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, one of Mile High FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mile High FC. 75 minutes into the match, Fizimar's 邱鹰翔 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frankie Herndon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Mile High FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Andre Teague hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Göksun Onurhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fizimar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mile High FC the free kick. A collision led to Fizimar getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Frankie Herndon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Fizimar were the better team. Fizimar's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
