Eskil Oen charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eskil Oen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Surroj booed when Kagelven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eskil Oen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Krenar Veleshta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mikkel Natvig. Kagelven's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kagelven's Mikkel Natvig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albi Januzaj in the 5th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Jon Nerland fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hilmi Marku, passed just outside the right post. Jon Nerland struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Hilmi Marku didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kagelven. Surroj's Hilmi Marku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Runar Hjortland in the 19th minute of play. Runar Hjortland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Hilmi Marku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Surroj getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bardibal Elmasllari hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Surroj's zone, Jon Nerland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilmi Marku came out of the goal and Jon Nerland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Runar Hjortland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bardibal Elmasllari kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Surroj's Rrapi Tusha got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 minutes, Runar Hjortland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kagelven and the Surroj players grew even worse after the yellow card. Runar Hjortland hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Surroj's Albi Januzaj got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hilmi Marku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cent Sæle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Runar Hjortland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilmi Marku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naim Xeci's late challenge caught a Kagelven's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Naim Xeci helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Surroj's Naim Xeci got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Hilmi Marku made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jon Nerland in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Runar Hjortland to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Rrapi Tusha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Mikkel Natvig managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Surroj's Albi Januzaj fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Kagelven's Runar Hjortland in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Surroj's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Nerland in the 74th minute of play forced Surroj's goalkeeper Hilmi Marku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rrapi Tusha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikkel Natvig having to interfere.
