Laurence Reeder was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Frankie Herndon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rrapi Tusha's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Mile High FC's Werner Kessler got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Raymundo Alvaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mile High FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Surroj the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mile High FC's Raymundo Alvaro got a free kick in the 16th minute. The long shot by Krenar Veleshta in the 16th minute really tested Frankie Herndon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mile High FC's Frankie Herndon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Mile High FC from getting a goal against them. Frankie Herndon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rrapi Tusha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Norberto Courtney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 played minutes Mile High FC got a freekick which was hit by Werner Kessler. If Rrapi Tusha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frankie Herndon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rrapi Tusha in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Surroj's zone, William Mueller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilmi Marku came out of the goal and William Mueller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Werner Kessler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

53 minutes into the match, Rrapi Tusha notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mile High FC's Frankie Herndon. Frankie Herndon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albi Januzaj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Frankie Herndon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bardibal Elmasllari came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Surroj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bardibal Elmasllari couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Werner Kessler in the 68th minute of play forced Surroj's goalkeeper Hilmi Marku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mile High FC's Werner Kessler in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Rrapi Tusha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frankie Herndon was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After 89 minutes of play, Surroj's Rrapi Tusha made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frankie Herndon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Surroj's Rrapi Tusha got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Surroj's Albi Januzaj got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mile High FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
