Sílvio Luiz das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Innocenzio in the 18th minute of the match. If João Francisco Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ochentosos F.C's Severo Otsando got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juarês Sabóia was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Emiliano Matthew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juarês Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 played minutes TOP DAWG FC got a freekick which was hit by Juarês Sabóia. Severo Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz das Neves having to interfere. The supporters of Ochentosos F.C booed when TOP DAWG FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to TOP DAWG FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gilvan Mattos hit a great ball. Marcelo Eguen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Sílvio Luiz das Neves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 81st play minute Victoriano Perico came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sílvio Luiz das Neves. 0-3. Paolo Innocenzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Juarês Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Etxatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Denílson Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TOP DAWG FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ochentosos F.C the free kick. In the 94th minute, Denílson Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ochentosos F.C players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
