After a rather tough play, JfbV.24 Würzburg's Hardi Winternagel got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 4 played minutes JfbV.24 Würzburg got a freekick which was hit by Sigmar Backeshoff. Hilmi Marku was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wigalf Lilleike showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Erald Mehmetaj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathis Nolting having to interfere. Mathis Nolting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bardibal Elmasllari, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Surroj's zone, Wigalf Lilleike stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilmi Marku came out of the goal and Wigalf Lilleike tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Surroj's Hilmi Marku proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Surroj from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Surroj's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wigalf Lilleike was slow to take the kick. During this time JfbV.24 Würzburg's players had a chance to rest. Veli Gorica thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Hilmi Marku, a very annoying self made goal in the 20th minute which led to 2-0. Hilmi Marku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wigalf Lilleike in the 28th minute of play. Hilmi Marku stood somewhat misplaced when Wigalf Lilleike came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. After a rather tough play, JfbV.24 Würzburg's Primus Brochtrop got a free kick in the 34th minute. Surroj's Rrapi Tusha got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mathis Nolting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rrapi Tusha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Surroj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veli Gorica to maneuver through the defense. Mathis Nolting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rrapi Tusha, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of JfbV.24 Würzburg booed when Surroj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erald Mehmetaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Wigalf Lilleike made the kick off in the second half. When Primus Brochtrop came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the JfbV.24 Würzburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primus Brochtrop couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Andreas Bannenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. JfbV.24 Würzburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Bannenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilmi Marku breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, JfbV.24 Würzburg's Daniel Rademacher got a free kick in the 57th minute. Albi Januzaj received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After some careless play in the Surroj defense, Wigalf Lilleike kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilmi Marku. The Surroj fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilmi Marku should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bardibal Elmasllari during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Surroj getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bardibal Elmasllari hit a great ball. In the 69th minute of the match Wigalf Lilleike sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hilmi Marku skillfully saved the ball. Mathis Nolting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rrapi Tusha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Wigalf Lilleike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilmi Marku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes JfbV.24 Würzburg got a freekick which was hit by Hardi Winternagel. The audience was convinced that Rrapi Tusha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathis Nolting was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Mathis Nolting made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Albi Januzaj sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ben Woldag during the 84th minute. Rrapi Tusha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Obbo Dubrau hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Mathis Nolting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rrapi Tusha in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, JfbV.24 Würzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Obbo Dubrau to maneuver through the defense. Surroj's Albi Januzaj got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Surroj booed when JfbV.24 Würzburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigmar Backeshoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. JfbV.24 Würzburg's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
