In the 19th match minute, Mile High FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doug Putnam to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mile High FC's Karl Wyatt got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Leo Small stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Raynard's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Mile High FC's Leo Small played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Raynard in the 32nd minute of play. Ivor Sadler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Leo Small made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as William Raynard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leo Small. That made the score 4-0 in the 35 minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mile High FC's goalkeeper Leo Small, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The ASC Amsterdam fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when ASC Amsterdam's Ivor Sadler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mile High FC's Leo Small proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Mile High FC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
