A collision led to Mile High FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alan Gillespie hit a great ball. Mile High FC's Leo Small proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Mile High FC from getting a goal against them. JfbV.24 Würzburg's Daniel Rademacher shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leo Small but with some difficulty. Mile High FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Andreas Bannenberg 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Mile High FC's Leo Small played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primus Brochtrop in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Mile High FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Wyatt to maneuver through the defense. Andreas Bannenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Leo Small tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Small was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Obbo Dubrau. Andy Shaffer kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, JfbV.24 Würzburg's Andreas Bannenberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Small narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Andreas Bannenberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JfbV.24 Würzburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Leo Small made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Bannenberg in the 55th minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Andreas Bannenberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mile High FC's Leo Small was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andreas Bannenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mile High FC's goalkeeper Leo Small, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Noah McCormick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. JfbV.24 Würzburg's Ben Woldag was substituted for Primus Brochtrop. After 64 played minutes Mile High FC got a freekick which was hit by Noah McCormick. Leo Small showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Bannenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The JfbV.24 Würzburg fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when JfbV.24 Würzburg's Andreas Bannenberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Mile High FC defense, Andreas Bannenberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Small. The Mile High FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Small should have stopped the shot. Mile High FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
