Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santos FC's attentive Dominic Albright managed to snatch the ball when Valentin Rindlisbacher made a throw-in in the 2nd minute of the game. Finn Neeser made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Santos FC's Terence Nicholas. 11 minutes into the game, Lanny Gilmore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Armağan Mukremin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armağan Mukremin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lanny Gilmore's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Lanny Gilmore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Flatline Zombies's goal looked a bit too open when Tyron Velasquez came free, but Armağan Mukremin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Liborius Müller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Smallwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Imbach got free with Aaron Smallwood in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 37th minute of play forced Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Armağan Mukremin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Santos FC booed when Flatline Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Rindlisbacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood got control of the ball when Levent Erkinay tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Levent Erkinay got free with Aaron Smallwood in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 45 minutes, Leon Kalb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flatline Zombies and the Santos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Flatline Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Leon Kalb. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Paulo Seco made the kick off in the second half. Levent Erkinay scored 1-1 in the 50th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aaron Smallwood, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lanny Gilmore might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armağan Mukremin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lanny Gilmore ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute, one of Santos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Santos FC. Tyron Velasquez struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Armağan Mukremin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC. Aaron Smallwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levent Erkinay in the 74th minute of the match. Aaron Smallwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Seco in the 75th minute of play. After 93 played minutes Flatline Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Axel Della Rossa. Leon Kalb got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Flatline Zombies were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Santos FC for a fine match.
