Lanny Gilmore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armağan Mukremin having to interfere. Liborius Müller kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 21st minute of play. The corner ended in Warren Ruiz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin did a great save. Santos FC's Terence Nicholas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valentin Rindlisbacher, made in the 24th minute of the game. Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Imbach in the 27th minute of play. Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Flatline Zombies booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tory Weeks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lanny Gilmore struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Armağan Mukremin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC. Armağan Mukremin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lanny Gilmore, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Aaron Smallwood made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Finn Neeser sent off a good shot on target. After 40 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Albright. Lanny Gilmore took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armağan Mukremin. Armağan Mukremin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liborius Müller in the 58th minute of play. Aaron Smallwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levent Erkinay, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flatline Zombies's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Warren Ruiz was slow to take the kick. During this time Santos FC's players had a chance to rest. Cesar Small made a great header on Santos FC's corner, it was just that Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin managed to reach the ball for a save. Cesar Small kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Flatline Zombies's keeper Armağan Mukremin was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Lanny Gilmore did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Armağan Mukremin 64 minutes into the match. Aaron Smallwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Imbach in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Liborius Müller made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Smallwood. Santos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Santos FC's Tyron Velasquez got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santos FC's Titus Kohler managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valentin Rindlisbacher in the 79 minute of the game. If Mike Richardson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Armağan Mukremin managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 95th match minute, Flatline Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Rindlisbacher to maneuver through the defense. The Santos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Santos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
