Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indiana Jones in the 2nd minute of play. Qiu Chuan Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Rocha in the 6th minute of play. Qiu Chuan Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Rocha in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Luís Fábio Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Chuan Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Luís Fábio Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qiu Chuan Ran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Qiu Chuan Ran came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Luís Fábio Rocha. But to his dismay, Luís Fábio Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Gonzalo Lixandro took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Higinio Aguilera to make any attempt to save it. Raimundo Ventura came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Higinio Aguilera could save by the left post. 22 minutes into the game, Raimundo Ventura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Higinio Aguilera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Rocha came free, but Qiu Chuan Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Demy Ottens who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Demy Ottens almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Faria in the 32nd minute of play forced Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Luís Fábio Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qiu Chuan Ran was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Higinio Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Faria in the 43rd minute of play. Qiu Chuan Ran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fábio Rocha went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fábio Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Hu Xiong Zhen got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute Gonzalo Lixandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Higinio Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Ventura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Faria came free, but Higinio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luís Fábio Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Los Hijos de Doña Beija fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fábio Rocha couldn't finish the play. Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Jyrki Sillanpää replaced Indiana Jones. 65 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Ventura came free, but Higinio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Hu Xiong Zhen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Higinio Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudemiro Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Qiu Chuan Ran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jyrki Sillanpää in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Faria in the 74th minute of play forced Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jyrki Sillanpää could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Qiu Chuan Ran however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. defense, Albino Brion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Qiu Chuan Ran. The Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Qiu Chuan Ran should have stopped the shot. Higinio Aguilera came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gonzalo Lixandro. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Lixandro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Rodolfo Faria got in the 90th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Higinio Aguilera handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Rodolfo Faria put it in 4-4 from a short distance just to the right of Higinio Aguilera. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albino Brion in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Qiu Chuan Ran saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
