A well-hit corner resulted in Catarino Furtado heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Sporting Clube Patrício booed when Bazinga! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Álvaro Quintanilha in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfons Levý prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sporting Clube Patrício's Caio Carmona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Intriago Montes in the 25th minute of play. Bazinga!'s Ariel Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars-Erik Rosen in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Caio Carmona, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 29 minutes into the game, Bazinga!'s Lars-Erik Rosen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caio Carmona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Sporting Clube Patrício's Caio Carmona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube Patrício from getting a goal against them. Intriago Montes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Bazinga!'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 38th minute Yuri Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Levý saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Horácio Chagas hit a great ball. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Intriago Montes to make the kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Lars-Erik Rosen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bazinga!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars-Erik Rosen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caio Carmona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Rosen in the 60th minute of the match. Sandro Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. When Bazinga!'s Lars-Erik Rosen in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Bazinga! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Alfons Levý stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yuri Gaspar's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Sporting Clube Patrício's Álvaro Quintanilha got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
