Nelson Cloarec made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Uriel Figueroa sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Uriel Figueroa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nelson Cloarec, 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Davy Giacomoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anibal Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelson Cloarec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nunez Guipuzkoa went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Guipuzkoa in the 42nd minute of play. With his leg Nelson Cloarec managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Los once leones's Uriel Figueroa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 46th minute, Anibal Chayo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nelson Cloarec, passed just outside the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davy Giacomoni to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Chayo in the 80th minute of play forced Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Nelson Cloarec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes of play, Los once leones's Salvador Sindo made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson Cloarec was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nelson Cloarec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Guipuzkoa in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Los once leones's Nunez Guipuzkoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Cloarec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Los once leones's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
