The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Álvaro Quintanilha in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grayson Gruenigen saved Fischverband Ostschweiz from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Fischverband Ostschweiz's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Quintanilha came free, but Grayson Gruenigen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Fischverband Ostschweiz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rasmus Højlund to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Álvaro Quintanilha in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grayson Gruenigen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute Sporting Clube Patrício were awarded a corner. Nélson Portugal went to the cornerflag to take it. Caio Carmona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rasmus Højlund's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fischverband Ostschweiz's zone, Catarino Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grayson Gruenigen came out of the goal and Catarino Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the game, Bernardo Salgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Clube Patrício's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fischverband Ostschweiz the free kick. 32 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goal looked a bit too open when Rasmus Højlund came free, but Caio Carmona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Fischverband Ostschweiz were awarded a corner. Timofej Felder went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Timofej Felder got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Caio Carmona quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Caio Carmona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Meira in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Radomil Ligas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Caio Carmona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the game, Fischverband Ostschweiz's Rasmus Højlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caio Carmona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Sporting Clube Patrício made a substitution. Abílio Lobo replaced Jarbas Fontoura.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radomil Ligas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rúben Dantas hit a great ball. If Guilherme Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuri Gaspar hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Radomil Ligas struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Caio Carmona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fischverband Ostschweiz. Guilherme Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Carmona having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomil Ligas got free with Caio Carmona in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yuri Gaspar hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Rasmus Højlund's late challenge caught a Sporting Clube Patrício's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rasmus Højlund helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sporting Clube Patrício booed when Fischverband Ostschweiz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasmus Højlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caio Carmona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasmus Højlund in the 71st minute of the match. Sporting Clube Patrício's Caio Carmona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Højlund in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Rúben Dantas hit a great ball. Caio Carmona made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Radomil Ligas sent off a good shot on target. Radomil Ligas in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Caio Carmona, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fischverband Ostschweiz played a much better game than Sporting Clube Patrício and deserved their victory. The Sporting Clube Patrício players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
