The supporters of Glasston booed when KS Luxik Ruda Śląska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boleslaw Czubski didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael van der Vaart in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwo Dombroski saved KS Luxik Ruda Śląska from getting behind. If György Németh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Iwo Dombroski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Golob in the 57th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislaw Kolbe in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlton Convine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the match, Stanislaw Kolbe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlton Convine. Glasston's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stanislaw Kolbe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Carlton Convine made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Teobald Hodas sent off a good shot on target. Iwo Dombroski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael van der Vaart, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. KS Luxik Ruda Śląska's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
