An unexpectedly hard shot by Wes Lieckens in the 9th minute of play forced Planetstaden IK's goalkeeper Gregory Pegrum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Wiman in the 12th minute of play forced La masia's goalkeeper Maximino Cesario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Planetstaden IK's goal looked a bit too open when Wes Lieckens came free, but Gregory Pegrum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georg Gustavsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Gregory Pegrum made a huge save. After 21 played minutes Planetstaden IK got a freekick which was hit by Bo-Erik Ekrot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mirza Başeskioğlu during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Bill Hofnagels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, La masia's Georg Gustavsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregory Pegrum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gregory Pegrum was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wes Lieckens showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 44 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Columbo Noya made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, La masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerom Kint to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Bo-Erik Ekrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregory Pegrum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Lieckens, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georg Gustavsson in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregory Pegrum saved Planetstaden IK from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Wes Lieckens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La masia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Gregory Pegrum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wes Lieckens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Wes Lieckens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Pegrum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Georg Gustavsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Gregory Pegrum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximino Cesario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Wiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Georg Gustavsson sped through Planetstaden IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gregory Pegrum. Gregory Pegrum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Stuckens in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wes Lieckens in the 96th minute of play forced Planetstaden IK's goalkeeper Gregory Pegrum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that La masia were the better team. La masia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
