An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Figueroa in the 92nd minute of play forced Fischverband Ostschweiz's goalkeeper Grayson Gruenigen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Anibal Chayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grayson Gruenigen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
