Catarino Furtado scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregory Pegrum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gregory Pegrum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Quintanilha in the 15th minute of the match. Planetstaden IK's Gregory Pegrum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Quintanilha in the 17th minute of play. Planetstaden IK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Álvaro Quintanilha scored to the left of an out of position Gregory Pegrum, making the score, 2-0. In the 21st minute, Bo-Erik Ekrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Planetstaden IK's Gregory Pegrum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Quintanilha in the 28th minute of play. Sporting Clube Patrício's Álvaro Quintanilha got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Sporting Clube Patrício got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Gaspar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Catarino Furtado in the 33rd minute of play forced Planetstaden IK's goalkeeper Gregory Pegrum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Catarino Furtado got free with Gregory Pegrum in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute Columbo Noya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Carmona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Catarino Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Sporting Clube Patrício fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Catarino Furtado couldn't finish the play. Gregory Pegrum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catarino Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
