Mete Golob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Pegrum having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, György Németh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glasston's supporters crossed their fingers, but György Németh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eddy Watts charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eddy Watts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Glasston's Eddy Watts got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute Rafael van der Vaart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Pegrum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Mete Golob had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregory Pegrum. Planetstaden IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mete Golob was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Planetstaden IK's Mirza Başeskioğlu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Planetstaden IK's attentive Mirza Başeskioğlu managed to snatch the ball when Tom Rheistein made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. In the 37th minute Brian Kinnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlton Convine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregory Pegrum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael van der Vaart in the 39th minute of the match. After the first half Glasston were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rafael van der Vaart made the kick off in the second half. Gregory Pegrum made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Rafael van der Vaart sent off a good shot on target. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tom Rheistein made in the 84th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aron Warren however managed to control. With 86 minutes on the clock, Tony Nordström commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 86th match minute, Planetstaden IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Nordström to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Planetstaden IK's goalkeeper Gregory Pegrum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Planetstaden IK defense, György Németh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregory Pegrum. The Planetstaden IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregory Pegrum should have stopped the shot. The Planetstaden IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Glasston were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
