After 4 played minutes Formation Pure Lyonnaise got a freekick which was hit by Cyril Chevron. 5 minutes into the game, Marzagão's Oliviero Vuelta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Cloarec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute, Murillo do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Cloarec was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingos Santiago in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelson Cloarec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nelson Cloarec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliviero Vuelta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelson Cloarec came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Marzagão's Oliviero Vuelta. But to his dismay, Oliviero Vuelta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Nelson Cloarec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Murillo do Valle took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelson Cloarec. Nelson Cloarec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Murillo do Valle took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelson Cloarec. In the 30thth minute of the game Oliviero Vuelta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Formation Pure Lyonnaise getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Hamza Le Forestier hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Formation Pure Lyonnaise defense, Oliviero Vuelta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelson Cloarec. The Formation Pure Lyonnaise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelson Cloarec should have stopped the shot. Nelson Cloarec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliviero Vuelta's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Domingos Santiago hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Nelson Cloarec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo do Valle in the 44th minute of play. Oliviero Vuelta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Formation Pure Lyonnaise players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marzagão were winning 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davy Giacomoni was the one to do the kick off. Umberto Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Oliviero Vuelta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelson Cloarec was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Oliviero Vuelta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 65 minutes into the match, Murillo do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelson Cloarec. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murillo do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. In the 71st minute, Marzagão's Murillo do Valle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. 76 minutes into the game, Marzagão's Oliviero Vuelta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Cloarec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Nelson Cloarec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Antunes in the 81st minute of the match. Pedro Toledo succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-12. 86 minutes into the game, Marzagão's Oliviero Vuelta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Cloarec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. In the 91st minute, Marzagão's Pedro Toledo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nelson Cloarec. Nelson Cloarec yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. When Pedro Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Marzagão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Toledo couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Marzagão could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Formation Pure Lyonnaise throughout the match.
