Tom Rheistein made a great header on Glasston's corner, it was just that Fischverband Ostschweiz's Grayson Gruenigen managed to reach the ball for a save. Grayson Gruenigen came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Glasston's Bruce Mcgrath. But to his dismay, Bruce Mcgrath quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Rafael van der Vaart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rafael van der Vaart made the kick off in the second half. Radomil Ligas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Rafael van der Vaart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glasston fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. A collision led to Fischverband Ostschweiz getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomil Ligas got free with Carlton Convine in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grayson Gruenigen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael van der Vaart in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute of the match Glasston got a corner. Fischverband Ostschweiz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tom Rheistein ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Eddy Watts managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rafael van der Vaart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grayson Gruenigen having to interfere. The supporters of Glasston booed when Fischverband Ostschweiz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romain Sanschagrin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlton Convine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fischverband Ostschweiz players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Glasston.
