If Eddy Watts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Eudoxio kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Rafael van der Vaart made a precise shot to the right of Dadá Martinez. Los once leones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Dadá Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Watts in the 33rd minute of the match. Dadá Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mete Golob, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The Los once leones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dadá Martinez should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uriel Figueroa was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddy Watts got free with Dadá Martinez in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eddy Watts hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael van der Vaart in the 80th minute of play forced Los once leones's goalkeeper Dadá Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glasston's attack was well implemented in the 81st minute, but when Rafael van der Vaart was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When the final whistle sounded Glasston left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los once leones.
