Dadá Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mieszko Karanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Sindo in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Marzagão booed when Los once leones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Eudoxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dadá Martinez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliviero Vuelta's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Pedro Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingos Santiago in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dadá Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domingos Santiago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dadá Martinez having to make a save. Dadá Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Antunes in the 37th minute of the match. Mieszko Karanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Guipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Guipuzkoa came free, but Mieszko Karanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Los once leones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Guillerme to maneuver through the defense. Los once leones's Dadá Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Mazza in the 42nd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Uriel Figueroa made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Marzagão's Dadá Martinez threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Domingos Santiago, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Oliviero Vuelta had several of the Los once leones's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Dadá Martinez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Marzagão's Pedro Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Los once leones's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Toledo came free, but Dadá Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dadá Martinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fetih Piruz in the 82nd minute. After 86 played minutes Los once leones got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Guipuzkoa. The long shot by Valério Mazza in the 86th minute really tested Dadá Martinez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Oliviero Vuelta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Dadá Martinez made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cezar Martins during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cezar Martins hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Marzagão's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
