Deportivo Alavés's Nils-Åke Andreasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Alavés from getting a goal against them. Mané Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lesardo Alavedra in the 15th minute of the match. Lesardo Alavedra scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mané Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes Deportivo Alavés's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastian Vettel who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Sebastian Vettel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Alavés's Nils-Åke Andreasson did a great save. When Erling Blixt came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Grox Team F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erling Blixt couldn't finish the play. Erling Blixt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Nils-Åke Andreasson made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Andrés Iniesta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils-Åke Andreasson was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Tomás Olayo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomás Olayo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Mané Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lesardo Alavedra, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 39 minutes into the game, Aggelos Papadias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lesardo Alavedra to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lesardo Alavedra in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Jacinto saved Grox Team F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Romero in the 65th minute of play forced Deportivo Alavés's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Lesardo Alavedra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mané Jacinto was relentless in the 67th minute of the game.
