Isaac Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mbaka Mbolu in the 16th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Mbaka Mbolu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaac Ferreira. Brazil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mbaka Mbolu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some careless play in the Brazil defense, Mbaka Mbolu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Ferreira. The Brazil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Ferreira should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Brazil's Manuel Campens threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin da Fonseca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mbaka Mbolu made a kick off. Mbaka Mbolu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Belgium's attentive Mbaka Mbolu managed to snatch the ball when Lothar Matthäus made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Santana came free, but Manuel Campens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saulão Chettle took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Campens. Manuel Campens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Brazil's Celsinho Perez was substituted for Saulão Chettle. A collision led to Brazil getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Marquinhos Xande hit a great ball. Isaac Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mbaka Mbolu in the 69th minute of the match. Lothar Matthäus made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Belgium's Gregory Thielemans. In the 82nd minute, Maurinho Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Campens was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The throw-in from Lothar Matthäus in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Belgium's Gregory Thielemans. 89 minutes into the match, Brazil's Maurinho Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Campens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manuel Campens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurinho Mendonça went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
